Pink Pearl is dedicated to teaching empowered homemaking and creative living. They offer a wide range of courses and workshops, fostering personal growth, creativity, and a strong sense of community.
Their mission is to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills to lead fulfilling lives, create nurturing homes, and embrace creativity, all in an accessible and joyful learning environment.
In the greater Lynchburg area, Meals on Wheels is designed to assist the homebound community by providing a balanced, nutritious, hot lunch five days each week.
Court Street members regularly volunteer to be drivers for this wonderful organization.
Parkview provides help, healing and hope to families and individuals in need by coming alongside them, engaging them in loving relationships and connecting them with life-changing resources.
Court Street volunteers with Food for Families and provides a worship service and meal for Parkview's Wednesday night Dinner with Neighbors Program .
Daily Bread serves a hot, nutritious lunch seven days a week from 10:50 A.M. to 12:20 P.M, including holidays. Volunteers from the greater Lynchburg community prepare, cook, and serve the meals, which are provided to the homeless and hungry of our community. Each recipient is seated and served by one of our caring volunteers. Our guests may have as many servings as they wish. In 2017, 40,732 meals were served from our downtown kitchen, and an additional 29,642 were given out in through our meals outreach program.
