Supporting Vulnerable Children

At our church, we believe in extending God’s love and care to the most vulnerable members of our community. This June, our month’s mission focuses on supporting Isaiah 117 House, a remarkable organization that provides a safe and comforting environment for children awaiting foster care placement.

When children are removed from their homes due to safety concerns, they often find themselves waiting in child welfare offices, sometimes for hours or even days. These children are frequently scared, hungry, lonely, and need clean clothes. Isaiah 117 House fills this critical gap by offering a home-like environment where children can wait for placement in a nurturing and supportive atmosphere.

Isaiah 117 House is committed to:

• Reducing Trauma: By providing a comforting home environment, Isaiah 117 House helps minimize the emotional and psychological stress children experience during this challenging time.

Throughout June, we are collecting donations to support the vital work of Isaiah 117 House. Financial contributions are needed to purchase necessary supplies and support the house’s ongoing operations.
